SWAVI runs entirely on volunteer power. Whether you can give a few hours a month or want to play a larger role, there's a place for you here!
We're currently looking for:
Volunteer Drivers — Help transport residents to appointments, events, and outings. Click to learn more about licensing and training requirements.
Attendants — Accompany a resident on their trip to provide support and companionship.
Grant Researcher — Help identify grants that SWAVI may be eligible for. Note: many grants require program delivery, so research focus should be on grants open to transportation/accessibility charities.
Board of Directors Members — We meet a few times per month. Charity or non-profit experience is an asset, but commitment is what matters most.
Committee Members — Operations, Finance, Fundraising, and more.
Event Volunteers — We attend community events throughout the year and love having extra hands on deck
